How did we come up with the name?  

We were looking to stay consistent with the method that Amazon uses to name its buildings, like Obidos.  The Mantaro River holds the distinction of being the upper-most source of the Amazon river.  Mantaro Partners was established to help your business easily flow into the Amazon E-commerce marketplace.
